This page explains what data Glycohero collects, how it is used, and your choices. It applies to the website at bloodglucosehero.com and to the Glycohero mobile app on iOS and Android.
What we collect
The mobile app
Glycohero does not require an account, does not ask for personal information, and does not transmit your gameplay to any server. Game progress (which levels you have unlocked, your selected character, audio mute state) is stored locally on your device using your operating system's standard storage. You can clear it at any time by deleting the app or clearing app data.
We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, health data, or any device identifier from inside the app.
The website (bloodglucosehero.com)
The website uses two third-party services:
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website. Cloudflare may log standard request information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and performance, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is used to understand which pages people visit and how they get to the site. GA4 sets cookies and may collect a truncated IP address, device and browser information, and pages viewed. We do not link this data to any individual identity. How we use this information
Aggregated, non-identifying website analytics help us understand which content is useful and improve the site. Server logs are used for security and to keep the site online. We do not sell any data, and we do not share data with advertisers.
Cookies
The website itself does not set cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser when you visit. You can block these in your browser settings, opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or use a privacy-focused browser that blocks analytics by default.
Children
Glycohero is intended for general audiences and is rated for all ages. Because the app does not collect personal information, no special data is gathered from children. Parents who wish to limit data sharing on the website can use the cookie controls described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, and to object to certain processing. We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted prominently on the website.
